Stress is nothing but a reaction to a physical, mental or emotional stimulus where the body’s natural balance is disturbed. Stress may or may not come in a form of some disease. It may be just a feeling and one may find that he is not able to cope with the challenges and pressure of life. Hence, it should be treated soon to avoid major health problems.
Stress related symptoms could be due to physical or psychological reasons. Physical symptoms experienced could be headache, insomnia, appetite loss, pain in back and neck, weight loss, nausea, breathing problems and muscle tension. Whereas, psychological symptoms include anxiety, tension, memory problems ,irritability, lack of concentration, and having negative feelings.
Stress can’t be relieved only by medicines. A person has to build an attitude where he can stand without getting stressed. For this one should have positive attitude towards life, should be able to accept facts, have control over anger, be physically as fit good health can fight stress easily, should not exert too much, have proper sleep, make friends and be social.
