Polluted air that we breathe, the dust and filth that we inhale and which surrounds us all the time in one or the other way can be the cause of a serious health problem, which might even lead to death. Starts with a simple cough, leads to inflammation and obstruction of bronchial tubes further narrowing airways in the lungs, coughing and heavy phlegm and wheezing, this is nothing but a bronchitis.
Bronchitis can be acute or chronic. Acute bronchitis generally happens from viral infections, and can be cured fast if taken care but chronic bronchitis is a serious long-term disorder that requires regular medical treatment. If acute bronchitis is not cured, it leads to chronic one. Some effort one has to do, like if the person smoke, leave immediately cause it causes more damage to the cells and the person gets more immune to the disease, with the mucus accumulating, its more easy for viral and bacterial infections to attack lungs which might permanently damage the lungs’ airways.
Symptoms of bronchitis infections can be bad throat, difficulty in swallowing, constant coughing and excess mucus, pain in chest, fatigue, headache, running nose, aching muscles, soreness, pain when breathing, and back pain.
Causes can vary a lot, like pollution, dust, some respiratory infections, fever and cold, but the main factor is heavy, long-term cigarette smoking.
