Sore throats usually are caused by bacterial and viral infections but can also be caused by anything, which irritates the sensitive mucous membranes.
Things, which can aggravate and cause sore throat, are allergies, cigarette, asthma smoke, and pollutants. Extremely hot food and drinks can also irritate mucus membrane, which can further cause this disorder. Some tooth and gum infections and scrapes, talking too loud or for too long are also factors to consider.
Symptoms of sore throat are bad breath, no taste of food, too much whiteness in tongue and uneasiness. However, sore throat can be caused by some serious medical conditions or some common disorders as cold or fever. It is not a very big problem and can be cured by gargling 3-4 times a day with warm water and salt, taking god amount vitamin A and C.
