Insomnia can be said as a symptom not a disease, which can form a major cause of some of the diseases if not taken care. Essential oil should be combines with carrier oil to make it less concentrated and should massage the back, neck, and temples. Other way out is add 10 drops of essential oil to the water and soak it for fifteen minutes; then take a bath before going to bed.
